Matters of Health

Wire Connection supports all Ibizan health studies that will help to improve, and further promise a healthy happy future for our beloved primitive breed. If you are involved in a study and wish to have highlights of the study, or would wish us to help bring awareness to the study please let us know more about what is being done, and we will do what we can to help educate and shed light on new developements, or assist in getting the word out on all matters of health.

!!!NEW!!! University of Pensilvania has agreed upon performing a study of Retinal Dysplasia (RD) in Ibizan Hounds!!!!!!!!!!

This is a wonderful opertunity, as this is a newly stumbled upon problem that has been underlying in the breed. Being able to begin studying and testing RD this early in its' finding, is very promising to help extract it from future gene pools.
